Lumbee River EMC selects HomeServe to offer home protection plans to members

Lumbee River EMC is excited to announce a new partnership with HomeServe to bring optional home protection plans from HomeServe to Lumbee River members in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, and Scotland counties. Eligible members will be able to enroll in these plans in the coming months.

Many homeowners are not aware that they are responsible for the cost of repairs to vital home systems. In some cases, repair costs could cost hundreds of dollars, and many homeowners are not prepared to handle the costs of unexpected breakdowns.

Protection plans from HomeServe provide financial relief from the cost of covered repairs due to breakdowns caused by normal wear and tear.

• Lumbee River works hard every day to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable electric cooperative services to its members. As part of that commitment, they look for new, inexpensive ways their members can help protect their homes and budgets from the high cost and hassle of unexpected repairs.

• Eligible Lumbee River members in North Carolina will be able to sign up for optional service plans to cover home repairs.
• Protection plans provide members with access to a HomeServe 24/7, 365 repair hotline, as well as local, licensed, and insured technicians that will come to members’ homes to fix covered repairs.
