With great sadness, we share the passing of Madie Rae Locklear, Director here at Lumbee River EMC.  Ms. Locklear has been a board member for 32 years. 

During her time on the board, she held many leadership positions including serving as the first female chairperson in 2019.  During her time on the board, Ms. Locklear always put the members and employees first in her thoughts and actions.  Her contributions to the success of the cooperative will be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
