As an electric cooperative, we value our owners-the members. That’s why Lumbee River EMC developed a Member Volunteer Committee. The committee is made up of member-owners just like you!
What our Member Volunteers do:
-
Member volunteers are advocates for the cooperative.
-
Member volunteers promote and discuss cooperative activities peer-to-peer, because they believe in it.
-
Member volunteers also extend the resources of the cooperative. Our member volunteers provide extra hands that help the cooperative do tasks and activities that might not otherwise get done.
-
Our member volunteers also provide valuable input to the cooperative.
Member Volunteer Committee meetings are held quarterly on the first Thursday of March, June, September, and December at 10:00 a.m. at our Pembroke Headquarters. If you are interested in becoming a member volunteer or if you have general questions about the committee, please contact us via phone at 910-843-4131 or email AskYourCoop@lumbeeriver.com.
