Lumbee River EMC established a scholarship program more than 30 years ago out of desire to help students who otherwise might not have the opportunity to continue their education. Since the program began, Lumbee River EMC has provided educational funds for students attending North Carolina State University, The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, East Carolina University, NC A&T, Wingate, The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and many more. As part of Lumbee River EMC’s commitment to our community, we are pleased to offer six scholarships to area students.
